"Breast Cancer Awareness: topic of discussion
The Wisconsin Women of Color Network Inc. (WWOCN) held its annual conference on employment
and training at the DoubleTree Hotel along E. Johnson St., Madison on Oct. 3, 2009. The keynote
address and roundtable discussions focused on creating awareness about early cancer detection to
save lives. The day's event highlighted the recognition of this year's Women of Achievement
awardees and scholarship recipients. Nadya Rojas recited her inspirational poem to start the
