The Department of Administration, Division of Enterprise Technology, is hiring an
IS Business Automation Senior (TEACH Administrator) position to work downtown
Madison. The Technology for Educational Achievement (TEACH) is a program
administered by the Wisconsin Department of Administration, Division of
Enterprise Technology. This position will serve as the primary resource for the
business functions; budget and finance; managing the operational budget, filing
for reimbursements of expenditures; developing policies and procedures and
presenting program information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Very qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to
present and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences from legislators,
school officials, technology coordinators and state agency heads. This position
requires skills and abilities developing budgets, program policies, and
procedures. Well qualified candidates will have knowledge of network technology
and telecommunications systems as related to the design, development,
implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and services. Very qualified
candidates will demonstrate leadership qualities when working with multiple
groups. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of state government and the
legislative process including the biennial budget process. Qualified candidates will
have knowledge of standard business software such as databases (SQL Server),
spreadsheets, online data sources and use of technology and information
systems in education.
